General oil painting class open to all levels

Each art student will have their own customized and personalized painting experience while working along with like minded folks in a class setting. The instructor will offer instruction in painting, composition critiques, demonstrations and advisement to assist in the creative endeavor from concept to execution. The class is set in a virtual setting on Zoom. Please email for more information.

$40 per class

 SUMMER SCHEDULE: we will NOT be holding Saturday classes on the dfollowing dates:

Indirect painting class - primarily a beginners course.

Tuesdays 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (FALL 2021)

An indirect painting method that is approached through an academic system of successive layering stages; a resolved drawing, transferred drawing on a tonal ground, a monochromatic under-painting,  a color overlay, and final color glazes. Generally this type of painting consists of a minimum of 6 classes.

$230 for 6 classes

 

WORKING FROM THE LIVE MODEL

Painting /Drawing  from the live model.

(Temporarily unavailable- Possible return in Fall 2021)

This is a long pose (4 HOUR) painting/drawing session with a Different Long pose every week. There will be a demo performed every week.

$30 work from the live model with simultaneous demo
