Weekly Classes

Open Paint

Saturdays 3:00 PM - 5:45 PM

General oil painting class open to all levels.

Oil painting class for all levels of experience and skill level. Students choosing to have instruction will learn the basic principles of oil painting, oil products, and development from concept to execution. The class utilizes North light exposure to gain optimal daylight painting. Each student operates with a personalized painting curriculum and consultation based on the individuals' design and needs.

$35 per class with your own supplies/ $45 per class if supplies are to be provided

Purchase 8 classes and take 15 % off !

Artists/ art students wishing to just come by and have a place to paint in a north light studio setting are also welcomed. $25 for three hours- no instruction.

Grisaille Painting Class

Indirect painting class primarily a beginners course.

Tuesdays 10:00 AM - 12:45 PM

An indirect painting method that is approached through an academic system of successive layering stages; a resolved drawing, transferred drawing on a tonal ground, a monochromatic under-painting, a color overlay, and final color glazes. Generally this type of painting consists of a minimum of 6 classes.

$220 for 6 classes (with your own supplies) $250 for 6 classes (if supplies are to be provided)

Working from the Live Model Painting/Drawing class

Painting /Drawing from the live model.

Saturday Evening 6:00 PM - 9:30PM

This is a long pose painting/drawing course with a new pose every week.

$25 if you just want to draw and paint

$35 work from the live model with instruction/ with your own materials
